Homeaway - Overcharged
Booked a cabin in NC. Paid for two nights, pet fee and cleaning fee. After agreeing to price, bill comes through with $45 administrative fee. That fee does not show upfront. After reading other reviews, that is typical. Cabin was dirty and not as described. We left a less than stellar review....3 stars. Owner removed review as it no longer shows up on their site. Stay away from Home away.
Homeaway Property Listing Review
Homeaway has taken over $6,000 in payments from my guests, and has refused to pay me. I have called and emailed repeatedly. I always speak with a friendly rep who assures me that I will be paid, and no payment is ever made. Beware if you are a property owner. It appears as though this company could be in financial trouble.
