Homeaway - Horrible experience. No recourse
I booked a home for my family vacation and paid in full. Six months later I received a letter theough HomeAway from the owner cancelling my stay. My entire family of 10 people had already booked airline tickets. The owner and Homeaway basically both said too bad. Owner claimed that he double booked. I was out of luck.
